- 1 whole pineapple
- 2 cups chicken broth (low-sodium, can use more if you like to simmer your rice water beforehand)
- 1 tsp. ginger (minced)
- 3 tsp. onion flakes (dried, fresh onions taste great as well)
- 1 tsp. garlic (minced, optional)
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 3 tsp. parsley
- 1 cup long-grain rice (uncooked)
- sesame oil (enough to lightly coat pan)
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. chicken breast (diced into cubes)
- 1 Tbsp. garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium, can add more if desired)
- 3 Tbsp. Sriracha sauce
- 2 tsp. seasoned rice wine vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. honey (I used 3)
- 1/4 cup pineapples (crushed, can add more if desired)
- 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
- red pepper flakes (pinch)
- sesame seeds (garnish, optional)
