This bread has superb texture and flavor. It was not difficult make at all … just followed directions as given. I used my KitchenAid mixer with dough hook. It yielded two large loaves ( from 9 x4 Pyrex baking pans ) so next time I will use 3 8 inch pans.

I followed the directions as stated and the bread turned out great! Very good!

Delicious. I didn’t have ginger and it turned out okay without it. I baked the bread in cast iron pans.

I read the reviews first, and baked them for about twenty five minutes. Beautiful, delicious, perfect :)

The taste was beautiful. I did learn what happens if you over stuff a bread pan. I got a heavy brick. And egg washing is awesome for biscuits... not so much for this bread. So. I’m gonna do it again and change a few things up. I love the organic feel of making the bread by hand. But I worked up a sweat kneading that dough!

Easy to make and very tasty. I added a cover of egg wash for better color. Soft texture great for everyday meals and sandwich

This bread is fantastic. I make bread weekly and this recipe is one of our favorites. The only change I make is using white 4-5 cups of White Wheat flour. Works fabulously.

This bread is delicious. When making the bread make sure you follow the temperature suggested for the water and buttermilk. I love how tall the bread and how sweet it is.
