I made a double batch of these delicious hotdog buns. The family loved them. I left out the sugar as Megan did and the yeast gave an excellent rise. Next time I'll make twice as much and make hamburger buns for another day.

1 1/4 cups of water is only 31.25% hydration to the 4 cups of flour. Inexperienced bakers will not know to add more water if necessary, and they will think something is wrong with them. With the correct ratio of ingredients, it turns out well.
