This recipe is a great starting point for making waffles! The ratio of ingredients is just right for waffles at home that are fluffy and sweet!

Very easy and good. I crisped them up a bit in the toaster after I cooked them!

The waffles turned out nice and golden and fluffy. To make chocolate waffles I just used the same recipe and added some more sugar and some cocoa powder

It turned out great. Our family and toddler loved it. The only thing I added was mini chocolate chips just for fun. Definitely making this again.

Best waffle batter ever! Have made this many times, always delicious! Smells wonderful while cooking with the vanilla in the recipe. I live at an elevation of over 6500 feet, glad I didn’t have to adjust the recipe. Perfect!

I was in a huge hurry due to an impatient 2 year old so I didn’t melt the butter all the way ( used only 1/2 a stick). Big mistake because I put it in the cold milk/egg mixture and ended up with rather large butter clumps. Then I got out the whip and that didn’t work. So, I just made them like that anyway. They were delicious. I did notice the butter clumps did create an issue but lesson learned and it did not ruin the waffles. I will be using this recipe again and make sure to melt that butter.

I did this when I’m in my holiday and now I’m doing it again! It’s delicious but I did some changes in the recipe :)

Excellent! The only thing I did was to reduce the sugar by 1/4 cup. They were perfect.

Cut the recipe down in half! It was fluffy and barely sweet! It was so easy to make!

Great recipe. You can make extra and store in frig. One half teaspoon salt helps with browning. Cake flour makes supper fluffy waffles.

I’ve tried a ton of waffle recipes and the result was always a sad soggy waffle but this recipe turned out crispy and delicious

Spot on ... perfect. The recipe did not specify what kind of sugar, so I used brown sugar my first time around.
