  • 1 tablespoon vinegar (I used balsamic, but any will do)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 3/4 tablespoon flour (I used whole wheat, avoid enriched white)
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 dash red pepper flakes (or sub 1/4 tsp hot sauce...or more if you like heat!)

    Simple and delicious…..Notice this says serving 1 so of course you have to double or triple or….. I doubled except sugar and vinegar (husband hates) and it was perfect.

    Super easy - subbed some dipping sauce for the soy, and added 1/2 tsp Chinese 5 spice instead of ginger. I also threw in some marinated pork, wrapped in bacon, and crab. Keith loved it.

    Good, basic stir fry sauce. You can also add garlic or increase the ginger if you enjoy those flavors

    Good basic stir fry sauce. I doubled the recipe and I used 1 1/2 TBSP cornstarch instead of flour.

    Delicious! Quadrupled the recipe for a whole skillet of baked tofu sautéed with Asian vegetables. Will use less brown sugar next time. And I added sesame seeds which added a little extra texture and flavor.

    This recipe works! I use a very similar recipe, except i use corn starch and eyeballing everything, now with these measurements i can share it.
