Easy and tastes great! Used Smithfield natural sausage and it was a good substitute to jimmy dean sausage which has msg in it. I am allergic to msg so I am always finding substitutes to make sure I don’t get a headache.

Very good. I held back on the milk to make it thicker, and substituted some half and half.

this recipe was just not my taste. i used 1/2 cup of butter and used 3 cups of milk. oddly enough, this ended up too rich.

in my case the butter was over kill due to the sausage having plenty of grease but it was still good just the butter would not mix in due to all the grease

It was a little thin so I gave it 4 stars. I added an extra half cup of flour and a tablespoon of corn starch and it thickened up nicely. It tastes great too!

AMAZING! You really do need the butter or bacon fat. There is not enough pan drippings to create a rich gravy. I know you think, "butter on top of the sausage and gravy?" But yes, yes you should. You are already pulling the trigger on biscuits and gravy! Add the butter!
