Excellent recipe. I haven't any previous tortilla experience, but this is a welcomed introduction. I'm excited to make more and possibly test the boundaries of this recipe. Simple and delicious.

I mixed it all by hand, barely kneaded at all, and used my tortilla press. They were so good. When fresh I’d eat them with no filling.

These are really good. I have not made with butter before. I had to add about 5 tablespoons more flour to get them to the correct texture.

Great! I followed the directions but I don’t have a food processor. I used a Kitchen Aid and it still worked. I use to make this when I was younger and they almost always were much tougher - using the old fashioned stirring method. :)

I love it and definitely in my recipe file

Kids love these tortillas. Key to making them successful is to let them rest as suggested.

This recipe was very tasty—I substituted 3/4 cup butter for 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon vegetable oil and they were very tasty. I substituted because I didn’t have enough butter! Delicious!!!

Good. I substituted olive oil for the butter and they were good. Not perfect but cheaper than store bought but just as good.

Good recipe! Definitely taste the butter in there. Beats store-bought tortillas. Will try it with wheat flour next time!
