Really good. Definitely a repeat meal. Made lots of leftovers for us. I made some shortcuts to get it done in an hour. 1) I didn't let anything really cool. Just put it together and stuck it in the oven. 2) I used the instant packet mashed potatoes (makes 2 cups) and a microwave mashed cauliflower (makes about 2-1/2 cups) and mixed together to reduce the carbs. 3) I used a frozen bag of peas AND carrots since the carrots are already diced.

Best I’ve ever made and tasted. I doubled the recipe and shared with my grandparents.

Tasted so good. Did everythung fresh except the peas. The only recommendation i would make is for a good red wine to use in cooking it. store bought cooking wine is basic, but a good 3 year or more wine will take it to new heights. I also recommed a good Roasted Garlic Mash Potatoes recipe. It definitely made the difference in this recipe

Holy moly, was this good. And pretty easy to make! It makes a ton, so for us, we easily got six servings out of it and felt sufficiently full it really is a hearty, rich meal tastes even better the next day! Definitely a keeper

Very good and easy to make. I wasn’t a huge fan of the flavor added from the red wine, so will leave that out in future. I also added Worcestershire for extra flavor. Like another reviewer, I used mashed potatoes made night before which made for a quicker prep.

This was so good! I didn’t have peas...but I added corn and cut green beans instead. I will definitely use this recipe again!

This was so great! It takes a little time but it’s well worth it. I had leftover mashed potatoes from the night before, so that cut the time way down. I also added a little half and half to the mixture, for a touch of creaminess :) will absolutely make this again!

I followed the recipe exactly and it was a bit bland. My husband and I added more tomato paste, red wine and broth. In the end we also added Worcestershire sauce and it was perfect. My children loved it and have requested it many times since.

Very tasty (though I did use minced lamb with it being shepherd’s pie, rather than beef per the recipe!). I’ll always use this recipe from now on.

turned out very good. doubled the meat to make it go a little farther. added an onion and did corn instead of peas because...well...didnt have them. also added a bit of worchestershire sauce. this dish is very english and doesnt boast the flavor that americans are used too. however my children loved it.

Very good. Easy to make. I bought all my veggies frozen and added them instead of fresh. Quicker and easier to make. My grandkids loved it.
