Not bad! It's a little flavorless but it holds together well with the recipe's amounts of liquid to dry ingredients. I did mine in a food processor to ensure thorough mixing, and it rolled nicely into a log from the warmth of my hands. This recipe makes quite a lot. Half of the recipe makes more than enough for one log to be wrapped in a stollen.

I needed extra liquid, so I added 2 T of syrup and 2 of water, then more water (whoops, didn't measure)
furthermore, I left out sugar. i only used 1.5 cups instead of two.
I don't know why i needed so much more liquid than was called for. I the end, the recipe was easy and tasty.
