baking powder is optional, but nice to add, tried also with 1/4 of corn flour,

They were good. Hubbie said a little drier than usual. I was trying out Bluebird flour. Also this recipe is a bit different than my usual. I liked the way the dough was workable. I’d never used oil before. Usually use solid Crisco. May try lard next time.
