- 13.5 oz. coconut milk ("lite", this truly is the best milk to make hot chocolate, I would advise against subbing as others I've tried were not good. Lite leaves NO coconut taste!)
- 2 Tbsp. cashew butter (Use 2 for a richer/thicker version. Use sunbutter for nut-free)
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa butter (finely chopped, or 17 discs, I use these cocoa butter discs from Amazon)
- 3 Tbsp. pure maple syrup (I used 3)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. fine sea salt
- whipped cream (optional)
- marshmallows (optional)
- grated nutmeg (optional)
