Homemade Chocolate Bonbons
AS RECEITAS LÁ DE CASA
Description
Declare yourself a chocolatier with these homemade chocolate bonbons. Made a combination of milk and unsweetened chocolate and sweetened with port wine, these bonbons are rich and luxurious. This recipe suggests the addition of sliced almonds and dried apricot, but you can choose your favorite additions or personalize the bonbons for a unique homemade gift.
Ingredients
Directions
- Place a piece of parchment paper, or a nonstick mat, on a work surface.
- Melt the chocolates, margarine, and Port wine over medium heat in a water bath. Mix well.
- Add the almonds and apricots, mixing quickly, but evenly.
- Remove from heat, and using two teaspoons, scoop out mixture to form small chocolate bonbons on the prepared surface.
- This whole process should be done as soon as the chocolate cools down, because if not, you won't be able to shape the candies.
