- 2 lb. chicken tenderloins (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp. hot sauce (your choice, more or less, to preference)
- 1 egg (lightly beaten)
- 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp. season salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
- avocado oil (or canola oil, for frying)
- 2 cups flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup avocado oil (or canola oil)
- 1 3/4 cups milk (I used 2% milk)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- honey (to drizzle at the end)
- 2 jalapenos (cut into slices, remove seeds to reduce heat)
