So here’s the thing…… if you, like me, grew up eating those packet side dishes that you add water and butter to, this recipes gives you the same flavors! I’ve make twice; first time sauce was too runny. Second time, I cut back on the water, to 3/4 c. Delicious!
Written recipe gives enough noodles for a two to three person side dish. Quick, uses ingredients I typically have on hand…. A keeper!

Best recipe ever! My kids love this. I add fresh shredded chicken for protein and it’s perfect! So easy!

I have made this several times. my 14 year old daughter loves it. I take leftovers to work and have shared with coworkers. They have asked if I would make it for their families. We preference a heavier chicken taste though. Cube a couble boneless skinless chicken breast and cook over med high heat and achieve a 'lunch bag brown'. Add garlic and 1 packet of bouillon. ( I use 2 packets of Herb Ox brand sodium free bouillon). I prefer it because it is in powder and not a cube. I use low sodium chicken culinary stock and, 3 cloves of fresh minced garlic. when it is done I stir in some parm cheese. The cheese helps make it creamier.

Simple base for any way you want it, I did only one bouillon cube and added 1/4 cup of Parmesan. Everyone loved it

I altered this recipe and it turned out great! Added 2 cans of shredded chicken seasoned with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and some red pepper flakes. Added one package of spinach (wilted with 1 tbsp butter and the same seasonings as the chicken) + a few chopped up stalks of celery and about 1/4 cup of onions that I browned with the spinach. With all of the extra additions, I had to throw in a little bit more milk to keep it from being too dry. It turned out so much better than the original recipe.

Not too bad!! It's closer to 3.5 stars as something else is needed to give the noodles more flavour. I used a homemade chicken stock instead of the bouillon and dehydrated onion which likely helped. The almond milk I used worked fine too

I don't recommend making this recipe unless your single or used to more than quadrupling a recipe. These directions are for one serving. I should have realized that with the 1 cup noodles in ingredients. I have a family of four. Of course I'm not used to quadrupling a recipe like this. I also had to thicken the sauce with cornstarch. It was bland but, parmesan and s&p fixed that.
