You have to follow the directions precisely. At first, I thought no way is this going to cook down because it was so thin. However, to my surprise, it turned out great. I constantly stirred it and eventually turned the heat up after I was stirring for about 5 minutes or so. The only thing I did was to add salt and extra pepper. I put leftover rotisserie chicken in. My husband had 2 huge servings. This is definitely a keeper. Very pleased.
