Tastes really good. Hubby said it is a tad smokey but good. I have a high heat gas stove so I had to use the diffuser under the pan. It took longer than the 14 minutes and I turned it up one notch when nearly done to get it to the 325°. Next time I might stop at 300° to add the rest to keep it lighter. As you can see from my picture it is quite dark. I’m wanting to put a drizzle in a banana pudding tomorrow for dinner.

It was good but didn’t come out very sweet so I added about 3 more tablespoons of melted butter and quite a bit more heavy cream after I removed from heat, then it was perfect.

Turned out great. Found it to be much easier to make than the recipes that have you mixing the sugar with water to start. I needed to cook over low heat in order to get the caramel to incorporate the cream but other than that, I made no changes.
