Ultimately I was making a glaze for a meatloaf, the glaze being a blend of ketchup and barbecue sauce, so I did not want a barbecue sauce that was made with ketchup. This recipe fit the bill. I like the result.

I added a little extra liquid smoke and about 1 tsp of Worcestershire Sauce. Whoa!!! Delicious! My daughter loved it.
