    The apples I used were quite tart but if you choose your apples well it could turn out quite well. I also added a dash of vanilla extract and some nutmeg and that tasted good.

    Great, we added honey instead of sugar and cooked the other reviewers above to add more salt.

    Delicious! I used maple syrup instead of sugar and added nutmeg. I also left the skin on half the apples for more texture and color.
