- 2 cups bbq sauce (preferably Dinosaur Bar-B-Que)
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup smoked paprika

- 1/4 cup raw turbinado sugar
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder (dark)

Everyone loved this recipe. Next time, I will probably bake the wings longer before I add the sauce. I broiled them a LOT longer(45min) to crisp the skin more. But that’s my family’s preference.

I tried this using bone in chicken thighs since the cost of wings are so high and thighs have more meat. The thighs have to be baked longer and a digital probe is critical. Anyway, it was quite easy and the family loved it. The coloring after carmelizing the sugar and charring the skin a bit was outstanding and makes a great part of plate presentation.
