- 4 cups mixed vegetables (fresh, cleaned and cut into 1 inch pieces, I used bell peppers, green onions, snow peas, corn, carrots and broccoli)

- kosher salt
- pepper
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 inches ginger (piece of, sliced into 3 pieces)
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- lime wedges (for garnish, optional)
- 3 cups steamed rice (for serving, if desired)
