- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper (chopped)
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 cup mushrooms (chopped, I used white mushrooms)
- 1 cup ketchup (and maybe a teeny bit more to taste)
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. brown rice vinegar
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- salt (Season with, if needed)
- refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (2 cans Pillsbury® Grands!® Homestyle, Makes 10 biscuits)
- 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese (or more. I say, go crazy with the cheese!)
