- 20 medjool dates (fresh, pitted)

This was one of the best granola bars I've ever made. While it certainly may taste healthy to those not accustomed to eating whole foods, it has a lovely richness and earthiness to it! The only problem, which I find with many homemade granola bars, is that they didn't want to hold their shape and were crumbly. Either way, I'd make these again in a heartbeat.
