Description
I love chili, but I'm not a fan of ground beef. Ground turkey helps make this recipe a healthy, simple and hearty meal. I also don't own a slow cooker, so this recipe is made on a stove top! Enjoy!
Ingredients

Directions
- Heat oil in skillet in medium high heat. When heated, add in onions, garlic, jalapeno and red pepper till the onions look translucent (3-4 minutes)
- Next, add in the ground turkey. Cook till turkey is browned (5-6 minutes).
- After turkey is cooked, combine the rest of the ingredients starting with the chicken stock. At this point, you can stir and cover. Reduce to low heat.
- Stir every 10 minutes, for an hour. When stirring, make sure the broth has enough salt and chili powder- add more accordingly.
- Let it cool a bit, and enjoy! I prefer to eat this with an easy baked sweet potato with a touch of olive oil (400 degrees for 50 minutes).
