Pretty good base soup. It was a little watery, but I think that was my fault. I boiled the corn and then put the cobs back in the water to cook for 30 min before starting. I added only half the corn before blending. I also added shrimp and a chopped poblano. Next time I will cook the shrimp shells with the cobs for more flavor. Also added old bay and tarragon. No bacon. Company loved it.

We really enjoyed it. We did add a little Red Hot Sauce for those who wanted a little spicer!
