I think it was great! I seasoned the meat in addition to salt and pepper some garlic powder and added a bay leaf. I hads some mushrooms that needed to be used so I also added them (cut in half) and started mine on the stove, once it was boiling I put it in a 350oven for a couple of hours. I made Michael Smith’s biscuits to serve with it. This is the second time I’ve made this stew…..so satisfying…..first time I served it with garlic mashed potatoes and was also delicious.
