This soup is perfect on such a chilly fall day as today I thoroughly enjoyed it. i used ham instead of bacon.

It was great. I used crushed fire tomatoes instead of diced tomatoes. It was almost like a Minestrone soup once I added Parmesan cheese.

Excellent soup! The bacon takes it to another level never thought of using the bacon fat to sauté the carrots and celery thats the rookie in me
