- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (any milk will work)
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 Orange (optional)
- 2 cups white whole wheat flour (or whole wheat pastry flour)
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted and cooled, can sub melted butter or vegan butter)
- 1/2 cup toasted walnuts (chopped, or macadamia nuts)
