- 2 bell peppers (any color, cored and chopped)
- 2 large carrots (peeled and diced)
- 2 stalks celery (diced)
- 1 sweet potato (medium, peeled and cubed, optional—I added it!)
- 2 lb. ground turkey (I used 93% lean*)
- 2 cups water (1 1/2-, more as needed)
- 15 oz. tomato sauce (1 can)
- 14.5 oz. diced tomatoes (1 can, in their juices)
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. ground cumin
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
- avocado (Sliced fresh)
- jalapeño (Thinly sliced)
- shredded cheese
- greek yogurt (Plain non-fat, or sour cream)
- freshly chopped cilantro

Very good, very easy! I added quinoa and beans for a little extra somethin’. Turned out great!

I added both black and kidney beans while halving the amount of turkey. It was definitely a yummy recipe, but I need to find a better flavor profile.
