- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp. fennel seeds
- 2 cups kidney beans (cooked, or 1 can, 16 ounces kidney beans, drained and rinsed)
- 2 cups great northern beans (cooked, or 1 can, 15 ounce can Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed)
- 2 zucchinis (medium, chopped)
- 3/4 cup pasta (dry Ditali, or other small pasta, gf pasta for gluten-free)

- water (as needed to thin out soup to desired consistency)
