I made this as the recipe instructed. I made it with quinoa and green beans. I didn’t weigh the chicken, so there was a lot of sauce leftover. That was fine with me, as I just poured it over my green beens. I did not have any trouble with the sauce thickening. I used one 11.5oz bottle of Simply Orange juice and the juice of one orange. It tasted great!

It’s a family favorite now. I’ve made it several times and I’m sure I’ll be making it more

Simple prep. I added some sriracha and onion powder, also omitted the honey. Sauce thickened as expected after 15 minutes boiling. Very tasty and I expect I will make it again.

SO yummy! And easy to make! Cut the recipe in half and it still turned out delicious.

We LOVED this. I used fresh oranges from my neighbor's tree and it came out amazing! I let the sauce reduce for quite awhile because I was cleaning my dishes while it was cooking, so it worked out great. The sauce is delicious, and the whole dish was a hit with the family. We had a fresh zucchini from my neighbor's garden so I made zucchini noodles to go with the chicken and the kids had rice. Will definitely make this again!

substituted coconut ingredient with coconut oil. used raw honey (recommend only one tea spoon to reduce sweetness)

Easy and delicious! I had to add a cornstarch slurry to the sauce, but its was good otherwise

Really good and easy, a little too spicy for our liking I’m not sure what made it spicy though, I guess the ginger

Patience pays off! Flavor was amazing! I used fresh squeezed orange juice, I substituted the coconut amino‘s with soy sauce. I used powdered ginger as I didn’t have fresh. While the chicken was cooking I boiled the sauce in another pan. Once it started to thicken I added the sauce to the chicken. I covered it and let it simmer for about five minutes. The sauce thickened up perfectly and the taste was amazing. There wasn’t any left at the end of the meal

I was pretty patient with my sauce, but it didn’t thicken.

I opted to skip the honey and also used soy sauce instead of the aminos. Before the 15 minute mark my sauce had fully thickened unlike the other reviews. It was perfect flavor and perfectly sweet enough.

Yummy!!! Give the sauce time to thicken. It takes longer to thicken the the time it says. This is a very tasty dish!

Pretty good but sauce never thickened. I let it simmer/boil for more than 20 mins to see if it would but nope. Had to add a cornstarch slurry. It definitely needs fresh ginger & garlic, not powdered. Plus, throw in some crushed chili peppers 🙌🏻. Making it again tonight with above suggestions. We shall see!

    good, but sauce never thickened

It was very good. It was easy to make, as long as you have patience and time to let it simmer for 20 minutes. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 - the recipe didn't have a measured amount ot chicken (it said 4 chicken breasts), so I just guessed the amount to use and didn't end up with as much sauce as I would like.
