- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 Tbsp. flax seeds (whole)
- 1/3 cup date (paste, boil 5 dates in water to cover, add a pinch of baking soda and then blend)
- 1/4 cup natural sugar (maple sugar is expensive, but great for an occasional treat)
- 1/3 cup coconut oil (melted)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. molasses

I love this. I had to make a few changes with sweetening this because I have diabetes. I used more unsweetened apple sauce. The first batch were more like biscuits. I’m going to put butter on them and have them breakfast. Great recipe!

simple and delicious. I left out the coconut oil and added in a 1/4 cup applesauce.
