- 1/2 cup flour (I use spelt but all purpose would work too. Regular whole wheat will work but is heavier.)
- 3 Tbsp. honey (I liked them at 1 tablespoon but the boys liked them best at 3 tablespoons)
- 1 pinch salt

I make crepes often, always with success. I was excited to try a chocolate version, but following the recipe as written yielded a VERY thin batter. The crepe turned into a gummy mess and had to be tossed out. I added at least another half cup of flour (all purpose for entire recipe) and the consistency was then right. The chocolate is very subtle but present.

For the flour portion I used half of my chocolate protein powder and half whole wheat flour! You definitely have to be patient if it's your first time making crepes but once you find the magical heat setting, you're golden! I ended up rolling strawberry cream cheese and bananas inside my crepes which made the perfect breakfast!
