Followed the recipe to a T and it looked nothing similar to the picture. And the taste was just ok.

It was very good, with modifications. I cooked my chicken in a can of ginger beer and a can of water. I also added turmeric, thyme, honey, salt and pepper and cinnamon to the chicken. I also added a bit of flour to thicken it and a can of coconut milk before the last 10 minutes of cooking. Cooked for about 30 minutes. In a separate pan I sautéed the onions with a little garlic and coconut oil, then added it to the chicken. In a cast iron skillet I cooked the yams in coconut oil until browned and crispy. Once cooked completely I served the yams under a nice big scoop of the curry mixture.

This was a really easy and delicious recipe! After reading the reviews, I added the honey (lots of it, it was very bitter), about 2t of cumin, and a dash of cinnamon. It all melt together wonderfully and came out a rich and hearty curry. I only simmered the chicken for 35 min on medium-low, and added the sweet potatoes simmering for 10 more min. Ate with yellow rice!

First meal I’ve ever had that included sweet potatoes that I didn’t like that much. Somehow this tasted very boring to me.

recipe was really good. i did add honey at the end to sweeten the sweet potatoes and they turned out great. only recommendation would be to season the chicken overnight.

Very good but extremely bitter to start out. Had to add some sugar and cinnamon to reach the perfect taste
