This was a little disappointing, but overall they were ok. The batter seemed too soft, would not crisp up, tried again and added a small amount of coconut oil, turned up the heat to 325 for 40 mins, was better, but barely stayed together to eat.

I was hoping for a little more crunch I even increased my temp to 200 and cooked 10 additional minutes at the higher heat

Alright, I tried this the first time, and wasn't too impressed. The bars weren't browning at all and leaving them in the oven longer seemed to dry them out. Second time around, I put some cinnamon in the batter, turned up the oven temperature to 200 degrees (F), and left them in there to bake for something like an hour. This batch was MUCH better and family has loved it! Very easy recipe to make :)
