- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 cup no sugar added applesauce
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt (plain or vanilla, I used Chobani 0% vanilla)
- 1/4 cup low fat milk
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup frozen blackberries (or fresh, coarsely chopped, if blackberries are extremely juicy, pat them with a paper towel and mix with 1-2 tablespoons of flour, plus more for the top, if desired.)
- 1/2 cup pecan (pieces for the top, optional)
- 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
