- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 onion (peeled and chopped into wedges)
- 1 red pepper (chopped into chunks)
- 432 grams pineapple (can of chopped, in juice)
- 2 cloves garlic (peeled and minced)
- 1 fresh ginger (x 1” cube, peeled and grated)
- 2 Tbsp. soft brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. dark soy sauce (use tamari for gluten free)
- 1 Tbsp. tomato puree (/paste - usually gluten free, but best to check)

Really like the flavor. Would caution on adding the pineapple juice. Start with a little and add as you need to get caramelization. Mine was too wet and didn’t caramelize.

This was excellent and easy to make.
My 1.5 and 3.5 year olds even ate it (except the onions)

Followed directions step by step and sauce didn’t thicken at all. Was alright would have been amazing if sauce was sticky

Loved it. Will cut back on the soy sauce a little bit next time, but only for personal taste. Wouldn’t change anything else.

Really lovely, added an extra third of everything except the pineapple - will add extra pineapple next time, it was really good, will definitely make this again.

pretty tasty. i used fresh pineapple and soaked it to make juice. i wasnt to sure of the ratio but maybe i needed a little more brown sugar to make a thicker glaze. would make again
