I left out the chickpeas because they were in the dish I served the night before. The only tomato purée I had was 28 oz, do I added 1 lb mushrooms and another tsp each of the cinnamon & paprika to balance out all the extra broth. I should have added extra ginger too. I had an open container of beef broth, so I used that instead of chicken broth. My whole family really liked the broth.
