    Tasty but the recipe's cook time was way too short and it did not list a size for the round baking dish (the one I used spilled over in my oven). The bake time is probably closely related to which cornbread mix you choose to use.

    With some adjustments this recipe has become a staple in our house. I cooked the onions in 4 slices of cut pieces of thick bacon. I used Oscar Meyer thick cut in the white package. I strained the meat also because it was pretty fatty. I used coconut milk instead of almond. And I baked it for minutes longer becuase the cornbread topping wasn't completely done. We used ketchup as a topping. This continually comes out amazzzzing!
