    This recipe turned out so well. With the leftover ham on the bone from Easter it was a breeze to make this soup. It warmed us up with the savory creaminess of the season.

    Comfort food! I also cooked potatoes in chicken broth, added corn and topped with chopped scallions before serving. Delicious.

    My family enjoyed this soup, turned out amazingly good. Even the most pickiest child loved the soup. But just like someone else I used two cans of chicken broth instead of water and bouillon cubes.

    substituted water and chicken bouillons for chicken stock...the kids asked for seconds!! this was the perfect way to use our christmas leftover ham!!
