Used white cheddar and regular rolls, that poppy seed dressing & honey mustard sauce are on point! so good. we enjoyed this and is was easy! served w smashed baby potatoes air fry

This was delicious!!! I omitted the poppy seeds, because I'm not a fan. I think they were maybe added for a slight crunch factor. To get a crunch factor, add thinly sliced cucmbers between the sandwich layers after they are done cooking, or just eat some crunchy vegetables or fruit on the side. This is not a healthy recipe by any means, more a good comfort food staple. I loved it, and so did my family. My younger kids (toddlers) were not fans, but they are picky eaters to begin with, so their opinion matters not in the grand scheme of repeat meals in the house. Many thanks for this recipe.
