- 1 inch ginger (adrak, peeled and sliced)
- 4 large garlic cloves (lehsun ki kaliyaan, roughly chopped)
- 2 medium onion (pyaaj, chopped)
- 1/4 cup ghee (or more if needed, use vegan butter to make it vegan)
- salt (to taste)
- 2 tsp. red chili powder (lal mirch powder)
- 1 Tbsp. coriander powder (dhaniya powder)
- 1/2 tsp. garam masala powder
- 1 green chillies (chopped)
- 1 tsp. cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1 cup yogurt (dahi,, use dairy-free yogurt for vegan version)

Flavor is good. Prep time estimate is way off. It takes more than seven minutes to prep all the ingredients especially if the turmeric roots are small
