- 3 packets sazon (con Culantro y Achiote)
- 2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 10 Manzanilla olives (optional)
- 1 tsp. capers (optional)
- 6 cups cold water
- 1/2 lb. ham hocks (cut into chunks optional*)
- 2 cups Yukon Gold potatoes (3 medium, cut in half and sliced 1/2" thick, or calabaza or yuca, optional)
