- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 45 grams butter (salted)
- 75 grams sugar (measured to around 90ml in a cup)
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 1/2 tsp. coarse salt (add another half tsp to taste, if you wish)
- 1 cup pecans
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar (plus a little more)
