- 1/2 cup cacao nibs (chopped)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (or almonds, toasted)
- 1/2 cup cheese alternative (dairy-free cream)
- 2 Tbsp. buttery spread (dairy-free, can substitute coconut oil)
- 2 Tbsp. custard powder (plain Bird’s, or non-GMO cornstarch)
- 1 Tbsp. Italian syrup (coffee liqueur or coffee-flavored)
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered confectioners sugar
- 4 oz. sweet chocolate (dairy-free semi-, roughly chopped, or chocolate chips, 2/3 cup)
- 1/3 cup milk (plain or unsweetened dairy-free, beverage)
- 1/4 cup extra firm silken tofu (see the Soy-Free Option below)
- 1 Tbsp. espresso (liquid, or coffee liqueur)
