- 10.5 oz. cream of mushroom soup (cream of chicken will work in a pinch)
- 4 oz. velveeta cheese (cubed)
- 1/2 cup milk (more if needed)

This is delicious! I make this like a shepherds pie instead of sliced potatoes. So you’ll need more potatoes. I add a few carrots with the potatoes as they boil and then pull them out and slice them before making the mashed potatoes. I also sauté mushrooms and add them into the beef mixture. I used purple and green cabbage and add either fresh or canned green beans.
It’s also yummy to add a little cayenne with the beef mixture. Broil for the last 5 minutes so the cheese and purple cabbage juice that boils up gets crispy.
So, so good! My enameled cast iron pot loves this dish in it! I make this at least once a month.

I cooked it a bit longer because everything was still crunchy. My husband and I loved it! Our kids did not lol
