- 1 lb. ground beef (note: I have used up to 1.25 pounds with this same recipe)
- taco seasoning (blend)
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 cumin (teaspooons)
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 3/4 cup water
- 12 taco shells (Hard or soft - for soft I recommend fajita-sized flour tortillas)
- 2 cups lettuce (shredded)
- 2 cups tomatoes (diced)
- 1 cup salsa (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, cheddar jack blend or Mexican cheese blend all work)
