Perfect on the timing. Just used EVOO, salt, pepper and paprika on top. Will try the marinade next time.

This turned out really well. I only let the meat marinate for an hour while I prepared the rest of my meal of queso rice and green beans. Seared the meat as per the recipe about 1 and half minutes on each side. As I prefer my tuna a little less rare than most I reduced the heat to low [ gas stove] and cooked another five minutes or so flipping the meat often. The tuna came thru moist and tender and although I may have gone a little crazy with the cayenne pepper my steaks were amazing. 5 Stars.
