- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 3 radicchio (firm heads, *see notes)
- olive oil (for brushing)
- sea salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 4 Tbsp. almond slices (honey-roasted, chopped, *I find these at Trader Joe’s. I prefer slightly sweetened almonds on this dish, but if you only have toasted almond slices, you can also use those!)
- 2 oz. parmigiano reggiano cheese
