This probably doesn't even count for making the same recipe.
I rarely follow recipes just use as idea guides.
Didn't have a fresh pineapple, can of chunks instead.
Drained the chunks and subbed for the OJ.
No pork steak.....had to leave that out. Could have used chicken breast or shrimp but they were still in the freezer.
Had one pound of Eckrich turkey sausage. Yum
Did have an onion...not purple. too bad use it anyway.
Had green peppers turning red on one side...perfect.
Rained cats n dogs, no grilling. Put skewers on large baking pan lined with foil.
Made a basting sauce by reducing the juice, sugar, honey and added a dash of 5 spice powder just because I like it.
baked in a 350° - 375° F. oven till done, your pepper or onion will let you know when they're soft.
Nuked 2 large russet potatoes till slightly underdone. Sliced in wedges, put in another foil lined pan, brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with Good Seasons dry salad seasoning to taste. (fill an empty shaker bottle you saved from a used spice and put one or two envelopes in it. This makes a tasty sprinkle on seasoning). Bake along with your skewers till crispy golden. Voila! Enjoy!
