- 2 lb. ground turkey (I don’t recommend using all turkey breast as it’s too dry)
- 1/2 cup mint (fresh chopped)
- 1/3 cup chopped parsley (fresh)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh oregano (chopped)
- 1/4 cup feta cheese (crumbled, As feta is salty, resist the urge to add more salt to this recipe.)
- 2 roasted red bell peppers (large, from jar, rinsed, blotted dry and chopped)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 6 whole wheat pitas (6-inch)
